Level 1 Direct registration New coaches can start here, or continue from ITLAS, Little Athletics, teaching or school sport. Youth / Running
Level 2 Direct registration Coaches with delivery experience can enter here, including teachers, club coaches and event assistants. Development / Advanced
Level 3 Pathway progression Usually follows Level 2 or Advanced Running, then moves into event-specific performance coaching. Specialise

Then recognise ongoing learning with CPD certification

Example: Youth Coach, Bronze
CPD badges sit beside the base accreditation, not above it. This lets a coach show both their role level and their current learning depth. A Development Coach can be Bronze, Silver or Gold depending on their ongoing professional learning.

GGold Deep specialisation and sustained professional development.
