How to Work Effectively with Parents

💡 Key Question: How do you manage overbearing parents, who are interfering in their child's training program?

This month, we're focusing on a common challenge many coaches face: parents who may inadvertently impact an athlete’s development by interfering with the training program. As coaches, we aim to support athletes by fostering a positive environment, and we understand that parental support is key—but it can be tricky to navigate when parents overstep.

Have you found effective ways to communicate boundaries? Or maybe you’ve developed creative approaches for educating parents on the importance of structured, coach-led training? Whether it’s a quick tip, a resource, or a story, we’d love to see what’s worked for you and learn from each other.
