Warm-Up Tool For Athletics

A good warm up does far more than “get the body warm”. For track athletes, it is the bridge between everyday movement and high speed, high force performance. It raises temperature, opens the right ranges, switches on the muscles that protect joints and produce power, and rehearses the shapes and rhythm you want to see once the real running starts. Done well, it reduces that sluggish first rep feeling and gives you cleaner mechanics from the outset, especially in sprint sessions where quality matters most.

This tool is here to make that easy. Coaches can use it as a practical menu of warm up ideas, a quick way to match a warm up to the time available, and a simple checklist to keep groups moving. It is also something you can share with athletes so they can run a consistent, coach approved warm up when you are not there to guide them, whether that is before a race, a school session, or training away from the squad.
