Updated Coach Accreditation Annual Fee

As part of the 2024-25 Season Update, the price of coaching accreditation is changing from $99 to $105. This change is primarily in response to increases in the cost of insurance and is the first time the price has been increased since July 2021. Membership will continue to include:

• Coaching accreditation recognised by your State Association, Athletics Australia, World Athletics, and the Australian Sports Commission

• Coaching insurance, including: 

  • Public liability: $30,000,000 any one occurrence.

  • Products liability: $30,000,000 any one occurrence and in the aggregate.

  • Professional indemnity: $10,000,000 any one claim and in the aggregate.

  • Management Liability: $10, 000, 000 any one claim and in the aggregate.

• Full access to the Athletics Learning Centre, including access to over 75 free coach education courses.

• Personalised Public Profile on Athletics Australia’s ‘Find a Coach’ page.

• Free entry to the Australian Athletics Championships (including Junior Championships), All Schools Championships, and other State and National events.

• Eligibility to attend Athletics Australia’s Coach Accreditation courses.

• Eligibility to attend Professional Development seminars hosted by Athletics Australia and your state Athletics Association, including the 2024 Education Series. 

• Eligibility to coach in affiliated athletics clubs across Australia.

• Eligibility to be selected as a coach on an Australian national team. 

• Eligibility to coach in Primary Schools as part of the Sporting Schools initiative.
