Victoria University Community Sport Survey

Volunteers have an important role in promoting a community sport environment that is safe, positive and nurturing for all children. Victoria University researchers are seeking survey responses from adults who volunteer in children’s community sport to better understand their current capability, opportunity, and motivations to recognise and respond to abuse of children in sport.

Athletics Australia is assisting Victoria University researchers with recruitment for this project. If you are 18 years or older and working in community sport you are invited to participate in this study and complete an online survey. The survey will take approximately 15-30 minutes. Please click on the following link to find out more about the project and consider participating in the survey.

The research project has been approved by Victoria University Human Research Ethics Committee (HRE24-091).

If you have any questions about this survey please contact the Chief Investigator of the research project at Victoria University Dr. Mary Woessner (mary.woessner@vu.edu.au)
