New Microlearning Course: Growth and Maturation in Female Athletes
Announcing a new microlearning module: Growth and Maturation in Female Athletes.
This resource is designed for coaches working with adolescent female athletes and focuses on the practical decisions that happen every week: when to progress training, when to hold back, when to adjust the session, and when to start a better conversation with the athlete.
The microlearning includes a 50-minute lecture, supported by coach-ready tools that help turn the key ideas into action. Coaches can watch the full lecture, replay key moments, and work through practical sections on growth, maturation, training responsiveness, peak height velocity, monitoring, and health warning signs.
The module helps coaches think beyond age-based assumptions and ask better questions, such as:
What is changing for this athlete?
How ready is she to absorb the next training load?
How is she responding to the program?
What should I adapt today?
The focus is to help coaches keep female athletes healthy, confident, progressing, and engaged in sport through periods of rapid development.
