Suggested Coach Payment Rates 2026-27
Australian Athletics has updated its suggested coaching payment rates for the 2026 to 2027 season.
The guidelines are designed to help coaches set appropriate fees and assist clubs, schools, athletes and other employers when budgeting for coaching services.
The updated page includes guidance for private coaching, squad coaching, online coaching, athletics clinics and casual coaching delivered on behalf of Australian Athletics.
These rates are recommendations rather than fixed requirements. Coaches should consider their accreditation, experience, session length, planning and communication responsibilities, facility costs, travel and the level of individual support provided when setting their fees.
